There are many nonprofit organizations who are available to assist.  Find resources for organization information and the assistance they can provide.

Pottawattamie County: If you have suffered damage from the storms, there are many nonprofit agencies ready and willing to assist. Here are a list of nonprofit organizations you can contact to get the assistance you need.  

Tornado Relief Services: The County has set up a wood debris dumping site. Take I-29 to the Honey Creek exit. Go west on Rosewood Rd. They are asking that you please only dump wood debris.  Other tornado relief services listed here

American Red Cross: Residents affected by the storms can receive assistance with recovery planning, health services or mental health support by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

As local and state officials explore opportunities for federal funding, it is vital property owners report storm-related damage.

Pottawattamie County: If you have experienced damage from the April 26 storms and need to report damage, please complete this form

Iowa Individual Disaster Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP): The IIAGP offers grants to families whose household's income is at 200% or less of the federal poverty level. Each qualifying household may receive up to $5,000.00. Find the application here.
