What We Do

Birthright of Council Bluffs offers love, hope and resources to women and men who are facing an unexpected pregnancy. We offer free pregnancy tests, friendship, maternity and newborn baby clothing, information about pregnancy and prenatal care, and referrals for medical help, financial assistance, parenting skills, and adoption.

We listen. We are here to be a gentle alternative to abortion and help you in making decisions about your pregnancy. We want you to know the options for you and your baby. We are here to give encouragement and help for as long as you need us and always free & completely confidential.

Birthright's guiding principle is: "It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born."
In the past 12 months we have helped 130 women, men, grandparents & families. Helpline is available 24/7 at 1-800-550-4900.
Our goal is to help any woman who is distressed by her pregnancy or thinks she may be pregnant- We are staffed by well trained volunteers .
