What We Do
Give Recovery advocates for individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) by funding residential drug treatment, transporting them to and from treatment, as well as supporting them through the first month of transitional living in a halfway house environment.
Give Recovery recognizes addiction as a disease and knows people with SUD need a combination of spiritual, emotional therapy and medical treatment. Addiction is treatable and can be managed, just as diabetes and heart disease can.
Ways we help:

Ensure all documentation and personal items necessary for entering treatment are procured.

Locate residential treatment center with vacancy and make reservations, paying the center directly for the stay.

Provide transportation to the treatment center and assist in check-in.

Give Recovery advocates will visit you during your stay, maintaining communication and support.

Give Recovery works with you to arrange transitional housing after treatment is completed, picking you up from the center and transporting you to your new housing.

We provide the first month rent in sober living while you get on your feet, also providing transportation to and from job interviews, doctor/therapy/probation appointments, and other necessary appointments for the first month in your new housing.

- The founder has established the only two Naranon meetings in Council Bluffs. Naranon is a support group for anyone who is affected by another's drug addiction.
