Volunteer Opportunity:
Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders through Junior Achievement

This opportunity has passed.

You can make a difference in a student's life through Junior Achievement in as little as an hour a week. Through a partnership with businesses and educators, Junior Achievement (JA) gives young people (in grades kindergarten through twelve), an inside look at work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. We do this with hands-on, activity-oriented programs, taught by volunteers in the classroom, during the school day with the support of a teacher. Junior Achievement provides everything you need including training, materials and flexible scheduling. Unlike a career day or guest speaker, Junior Achievement volunteers build a rapport with their students through weekly presentations over five to eight weeks. Junior Achievement gives you an opportunity to positively impact students through your employer's volunteer program or as a parent, especially at the elementary level, or on your own. We will work with you to match you with a class based on grade level, proximity to work or home and availability. Educators welcome Junior Achievement to their classrooms because JA prepares young people for the future. Businesses support JA because we are an investment in the future. And people volunteer for JA because it’s one of the best ways they can share their experience with young people.
