What We Do

Economic Empowerment Through Education! Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. JA students develop the skills they need to succeed at managing money, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.  Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA inspires students to develop competitive skills and confidence plus, their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth.

Interesting Info
  • We've served over 10,000 students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
  • Research shows that JA alumni are more likely to have a college degree, feel confident managing money, have career success, and have started a business.
  • Our goal is to have the resources, financial and volunteer, to provide our programs to every classroom that requests them.
