Many volunteers look for opportunities to serve as a family. Kamryn Ryan from Volunteer Iowa is joining us to discuss how to engage youth and family volunteers as well as barries and solutions to youth volunteering.
Kamryn Ryan is the AmeriCorps Seniors & Capacity Building Officer with Volunteer Iowa. In this position, Kamryn works with schools, nonprofits, and afterschool programs to develop service-learning projects and youth volunteer experiences. She is a strong advocate for youth voice and leadership. Prior to Volunteer Iowa, Kamryn served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member which sparked her interest in community and youth development.
